Transport system for containers

PROMAG delivered a complex solution to a leading supplier of equipment to nurseries, schools and kindergartens. It was a 2-level warehouse platform with an automated customer order picking system.

The system was comprised of:

• straight and curved roller conveyors;
• straight and inclined belt conveyors;
• strip transfers;
• gravity conveyors;
• bar code readers.

A custom-designed automatic container transport system with sidings enables assembly of customer orders which include several products located in different warehouse areas on 3 levels of storage. There are 20 gravity sidings for assembled customer orders at the end of the line. The system we have delivered works fully with the customer’s WMS.
