Summary of the 5th Forum THE MAGAZINE OF THE FUTURE

On October 24th, 2019 at the PROMAG Warehouse Technology Center in Poznań gathered many representatives of companies from across the country, interested in the latest solutions in the field of automation of intralogistic processes.

The fifth anniversary edition of the FUTURE STORAGE Forum was held under the theme of INTELLIGENT STORAGE, or new technologies in intralogistics.  Experts representing ICAN INSTITUTE, YASKAWA, THINK, ANT DATA, INTEGRA CONSULTING POLAND and the Office of Technical Inspection shared their knowledge with the guests. PROMAG S.A. representatives talked about the latest methods of increasing storage density in warehouses and automation of internal transport processes. They also talked about the role of artificial intelligence in business, industrial cyber security, intelligent robotics, WMS, the possibilities of supporting decision-making in logistics by using Business Intelligence tools, and the challenges facing managers in the era of revolution 4.0.

Participants of V Forum also had an opportunity to take a close look at the work of a fully automated transport, picking, palletizing, and storage line in a warehouse, an AGV autonomous truck and a cooperating robot, and to learn about the functionality of a shipment picking station equipped with a camera and scanning gloves. Also waiting for them was a platform truck equipped with the innovative ERGOMOVE electric wheel solution by Blickle and an augmented reality station.
