Transport automation at POLCAR

Conveyor system implemented for another customer involved in the distribution of automotive parts. The installed system is an optimal solution for the functionality required by the processes performed in the customer's warehouse. The logic of the system operation consists in picking the goods into containers and their transport to the proper packing and shipping area.

The loading lines have been arranged on 4 levels of the warehouse mezzanine, from which the loads are transported by a system of conveyors linking the lines into one collective overpass, led through several storage rooms.

The system is characterized by high efficiency of flow through the key nodes (more than 1200 containers per hour) thanks to the use of "pop-up" angle slides. Communication between multiple levels was provided by diagonal belt conveyors. Sorting in the bin receiving area is accomplished using modular belt transfers.
