Robotic palletising in Kalisz
The goal of the project was to construct a system for transport, robotic palletising, packaging and storage of dairy products.
Project objectives:
- reduce headcount;
- eliminate errors;
- use a pallet transport system in the technological process - product refrigeration;
- use the available warehouse space (cold store) to the maximum;
- ensure fast movement of goods under the FIFO formula;
- full pallet shipment and MIX pallet shipment.
A modern system for transport, robotic palletising and packaging which comprised:
- plate chain conveyors;
- vertical conveyors - continuous operation;
- goods stackers;
- robots;
- roller and chain conveyors;
- transfers and turntables;
- automatic ring wrapper;
- labelling machine;
- pallet magazine;
- vertical conveyors with a system for pallet loading/unloading from the floor level.
WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED by implementing the transport, robotic palletising and packaging system:
- higher efficiency of processes;
- reduced unit product costs;
- a possibility to work 24 hours a day;
- elimination of errors;
- improved quality of deliveries;
- streamlined technological process;
- higher safety of people and goods.
