An interesting project for the dairy industry

A transport system for finished goods and packaging between a production hall and a cold store, taking into account the technology of maturing dairy products.

PROMAG S.A. has recently completed an interesting project for the dairy industry providing a system to transport finished goods and packaging between a production hall and a cold store which also takes account of the food product maturing technology.

The solution we implemented consists of:

• roller conveyors;
• chain conveyors;
• vertical conveyors;
• roller and chain transfers;
• roller turntables;
• a pallet lift;
• an automatic wrapper with an automatic table.

An integrated control system enables automatic management of all the equipment from an HMI panel. The solution we implemented was designed and constructed to use rooms which have not been used before above corridors and cold stores. Additionally, the pallet wrapping process was streamlined and the transport system became a storage buffer for approx. 200 pallets.
